Classic Lashes
A single lash extension is attached to every single healthy lash to enhance, extend and thicken your natural lashes. The weight and length of extension you can have is determined by your natural lash weight, length and health but we can fully customise the look you desire by varying that length, curl and weight. Depending on how many lashes you have 120-180 lashes are applied to each eye. This takes 2hr15 mins, and infills are 1 1/4 – 1 3/4 hours depending on your lash retention and length of time between appointments. It’s a very relaxing process and most of my clients have a little nap and wake up to beautiful lashes.

Hybrid Lashes
Hybrid lash extensions use a combination of handmade fans and classic single extensions to add volume and texture to your lashes. Hybrid lashes are perfect for those wanting a little more drama, or for those with thin or sparse lashes.

Volume Lashes
Volume lash extensions use exclusively handmade fans of lashes attached to each individual natural lash to create a dense and fluffy lash look. This is best option for those who have few natural lashes or those looking for a more dense lash look.

Lash extensions can last 8-12 weeks if properly cared for, but this depends on your lashes natural lash cycle and aftercare. To keep them looking their best I recommend having infills every 2-3 weeks (based on your lash cycle and retention). ​

Eyelash extensions do not cause damage to your natural eyelashes as long as they are applied by a qualified eyelash extension technician who has ensured that the lashes used are not too heavy for your natural lashes. If correct aftercare is undertaken, and you do not rub or pull at the extensions, then no damage will occur.

AFTERCARE

Looking after you lash extensions correctly is so important. If you don’t look after them they just wont last. For the first 48 hours you need to be careful with them, as this is how long it takes for the glue to dry completely. And after that it’s all about ensuring you don’t compromise the bond between the natural lash and the extension. You cannot use any products on or near your extensions that contain oil as this will quickly break down the bond between your extension and your natural lash. But there are plenty of products that are safe for use with lash extensions… Which all Nouveau products are. Nouveau even has an extension safe mascara! If your lashes aren’t lasting as long as they should, its time to start looking at the products you use around your eye area.

Cardinal Lash Rules:

1. Don’t get them wet for 24 hours
2. Avoid Steam for 48 hours
3. Use a lash cleanser to cleanse them every 2-3 days (or daily if you have very oily eyelids)
4. Use makeup removers, mascaras and other products around the eye that are safe for extensions (the Nouveau range is designed to be extension safe)
5. Don’t rub your eyes or be too rough on them
6. Gently brush them back into shape with a soft spoolie.

The best care for these lashes is to just leave them alone, which is why they are so great – you will revel in the time it saves you in the morning when you pop out of bed looking bright-eyed as though your mascara and eye makeup is already done!

Your lash lift will last as long as your lash cycle, which for most people is 6-8 weeks, but some people get up to 12 weeks wear! If you want your lash lifts to last longer, then using lash serum daily will lengthen your lash cycle and give you longer wear. You will need to top up your tint every 3-4 weeks in between for the full wow factor.
